Installation Instructions

Before Intallation

  • The Wexstar Water Conditioner is designed for easy, do-it-yourself installation that can be completed in a matter of minutes, without requiring any specialized tools or expertise. All necessary components are included in the package. Once installed, the Wexstar Water Conditioner system is maintenance-free.


  • The installation requires in total a minimum of approximately 17 inches of pipe space. Each impulse band requires approximately 5 inches, and need at least 1 inch of separation between them. The impulse band offer flexible installation options and can be mounted on either horizontal or vertical pipes. The performance of the unit is not affected by water flow direction (left or right), band orientation, or winding direction (clockwise or counter-clockwise). The impulse band must maintain direct contact with the pipe surface. Any casing or insulating material on the pipe must be removed. Thin coats of paint can be left.


  • Wexstar electronic device can be installed on vertical or horizontal pipes.

  • For optimal results, we recommend installing the Wexstar Water Conditioner on the main line section of the water pipe as soon as it enters your property. To ensure treatment of both hot and cold-water lines, install the Wexstar Conditioner before the point where the water line splits into hot and cold branches. If you have a pressure tank or whole house filtration system, or sediment filter install the Wexstar Conditioner after these systems. If the Wexstar Conditioner is installed in addition to a water softener it is recommended to install the Wexstar Water Conditioner unit before the water softener on the pipe.


  • Fe: The iron and metal concentration in the water should not exceed 1 mg/l (1ppm). Mn: The manganese level should not exceed 0.1 mg/l (0.1 ppm).​ In the case you do we recommend an iron or manganese filter right before the Wexstar Water Conditioner.

    Treatment Area

  • Downstream: The treatment effect can reach up to 1.5 miles downstream.

  • Upstream: The Wexstar Water Treatment system creates a treatment zone extending approximately 10 feet upstream from the installation point.

Installation Process

Step 1

Take out the support stand from the back of the unit. Take out the 2 white cable ties, insert them through the gaps in the support stand as shown. ​

Step 2

Insert the cable ties into the slots on the other side of the pipe, so it will create a loop to secure the structure to the pipe. Cut any extra cable tie.

Step 3

Install the main computerized unit into the support stand and ensure it is secured. ​

Step 4

Wrap the copper impulse bands tightly and firmly without any gaps around the pipe and insert them into the red terminals on each side. Finally, plug the adapter into the unit first and then into the electrical socket to turn the unit on. ​
